Bio-Sensory Training

What is it?

Bio-sensory Training, aka Superdog Training, has been used by our military for many years! The purpose of bio-sensory training is to help your dog learn early coping mechanisms for stress in their lives. We all know how much stress can affect our human bodies! It’s no different with animals. Stress can have a detrimental affect on them, if they don’t have the skills to correctly deal with it.

You may have seen a dog who was skiddish, fearful, had separation anxiety, or hated new people. This is often due to circumstances. However, by teaching these puppies early coping skills for stress points in their life, these dogs go on to become stable, healthy, well adjusted dogs.

Bio-sensory Training has been proven to help dogs deal with things like travel, separation anxiety, stranger anxiety, as well as many others. Physically, studies have shown that puppies who went through ENS training (Early Neurological Stimulation), otherwise known as bio-sensory training, had stronger heart rates, stronger immune systems, higher tolerance to stress, and stronger nervous systems. Who wouldn’t want their puppy to have all those benefits, right?

ENS training is simply a series of short stress exercises that last no more than 3-5 seconds each, on your puppies third day of life through the 16th day. By doing this, the puppy develops stress coping mechanisms very early on, that translate to a much healthier puppy later on in life! We want to do everything we can to give our pups the very best start in life!
