Potty Training

We understand that one of the hardest parts of bringing home a new puppy is potty training! We work hard to give your puppy a great start on their potty training journey! At three weeks we introduce the potty mats on one side of the whelping box. At 4 weeks, we bring in the potty boxes. They are able to start walking at this age, and can climb into these boxes to do their business. It’s amazing how fast they learnt to keep their area clean! At 5 weeks we start allowing them to go outside to their outdoor run. We start them off in the gravel area, and as they get older they get supervised visits to the grassy area! By the time they go home with you at around 10 weeks, your puppy will have a great start on potty training and will be living their best life! These are smart little pups!

Crate Training

We realize that crate training can be hard. Listening to your new little one cry in their crate all night would hurt even the hardest of hearts. We firmly believe crate training is for your puppies good, even though it is difficult. We start your crate training here, so that the puppy has already learned that the crate can be a safe place. When done right, the crate can become a haven for your little one. A place of quiet and calm. We start crate training at 5 1/2 weeks, so your puppy can start learning that a crate is a good thing, in an environment that is already familiar to them. This makes for a smoother transition into their new homes.
